In order for you to observe celestial objects in peace, the rotation of the earth must be compensated. Otherwise, the observing objects would disappear from the telescope's field of view.
The Skyoptikst telescope motor automatically realigns your telescope by precisely compensating for the Earth's rotation. The celestial object you are observing (planet, nebula, moon, etc.) thus remains in the field of view of your telescope without you having to manually adjust your telescope every few seconds. It is simply connected to the mount of your Skyoptikst telescope and the telescope is then automatically tracked. Due to the exact quartz control, the tracking speed is always correct and does not have to be constantly readjusted, as is necessary with simpler tracking motors. Let your Skyoptikst telescope do the work for you!
If you are interested in astrophotography, a telescope motor is indispensable for you, because without compensation of the apparent celestial motion, the quality of the images will be compromised. The Skyoptikst telescope motor will track your telescope precisely enough to take impressive planetary shots, or shots of the moon and stars
The tracking speed can be additionally set to 2x and 8x at the touch of a button using the practical hand control. This function allows you to systematically track star constellations, or e.g. surface details of the moon.
The motor can be used for observations in the northern hemisphere as well as in the southern hemisphere.
The telescope motor is battery operated and Four No. 1 batteries are required (not included). Ideal for location-independent observation in nature.
